Teen Wheel ThrowingWednesdays, March 26 - May 14 (8 Weeks), 4 - 6 PM [Mary Rhein]
Learn to throw pots on the wheel! This class will cover the FUNdamentals of throwing cylinders, bowls, and plates. We will spend the first 6 weeks throwing to leave time the last 2 weeks for finishing and glazing. SUPPLIES: All the supplies will be provided for you by SAA, but be sure to dress for mess! Teen MetalsMondays, March 24 - May 12 (8 Weeks), 3:30 - 5:30 PM [Kaye Demlow]
Is your teen interested in chainmail, jewelry making, or just looking for a new and exciting skill to learn? In this course students will learn the basics of metal fabrication for wearables and small scale sculptural work with instructor Kaye Demlow. Students will learn basic metal-forming, soldering techniques, patinas, enameling, and basic jewelry settings. SUPPLIES: Tools and materials will be provided by SAA for students.
