These classes are quick samples or tastes of what we have to offer in our various studios. Try something new that provides a fun, care-free introduction to, or development in a certain medium. BYOB or snack to the studio, unless you are working in the glass studio, metals studio, or Edwards Place, in which we will ask that you do not bring alcoholic drinks or snacks.

Josh DeWall Weekend IntensiveFriday, March 6, 6-9 PM
Saturday and Sunday, March 7 & 8 , 9 AM – 6 PM Join us in the hot shop for a weekend with Chicago glass artist Josh DeWall who has worked for glass institutions nationwide. We will meet Friday from 6-9 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with an hour-break for lunch. Techniques covered will include advanced color application, working thin and fast, and sculpting. This workshop is a great fit for students who have completed Glassblowing 2 and are looking to advance their skillset. All materials provided by SAA. Price listed includes all 3 days.
