Paint The Street

A fundraiser held in downtown Springfield where participants help create a gallery on the street under the stars.

Paint the Street
is where we take over Washington Street in Downtown Springfield and paint 6 ft x 6 ft squares. Each square registration will receive one paint supply bucket (including brushes and the tempera paint we will be using which is water soluble/washable), one giveaway bag with goodies from sponsors, and one Paint the Street t-shirt.

Please only enter adults' names. Do not type a child's name under Registrant.
'Artist Name' is only intended for the Competitive Category.

​WHO IS PAINTING?
Everyone: Artists, families, businesses, clubs, friends, and the community at large. Certain community charities of SAA, PNC, and others sponsors' choosing will receive a free square. 

Competitive Category: Artists may purchase a square for $10 extra to be entered in the Competitive Art Category. You will have eight hours to complete your painting.  This category will have access to an endless amount of paint. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners.
First Place= $300
Second Place= $200
​Third Place= $100
WHAT ARE YOU  PAINTING?
It is completely up to you!  - a portrait, business logo, a Jackson Pollock!

We request that imagery remains family friendly and we do retain the right to remove or request edits, at our discretion, to content that is not appropriate for the general public.
WHERE ARE YOU  PAINTING?
​Paint the Street: The event will block off Washington from 4th to 8th Streets. No painting will happen on the cobblestone between 5th and 6th Streets. A square number will be assigned to you and emailed the day before the event.
