• Abraham and Mary Lincoln Ice Cream Social, Wednesdays, 1 PM:
Abraham and Mary Lincoln will attend, telling stories from his time in Springfield while on a visit to Mrs. Edwards at her Italianate home.
• Servant Tours with Annie Sage, Fridays, 1 PM:
Annie Sage was a servant at Edwards Place, brought over from Ireland by her cousin who worked for the Edwards family. Guests can join her in completing her afternoon chores – which will be different every week.
Paint the Street
June 22, 2019
We are hosting a community block party where you literally PAINT THE STREETS OF DOWNTOWN SPRINGFIELD! Participant / groups will purchase a 6' x 6' square of street and will receive an event bag containing: paint supplies (including the tempera paint we will be using which is water soluble/washable) and giveaway goodies from sponsors. Food stands and great music will be available throughout the day.
Fine Art Fair
September 21-22, 2019
Join us for the best annual Fine Art Fair in the region with over 70 art vendors all weekend long! In addition, we are having live music, food, beer and wine, and a pre-owned book and art supply sale. This event is dog-friendly so feel free to bring your fur babies with you!
