Perspective DrawingMondays, March 23 - May 11 [8 weeks]: 10 AM - 12 PM [Ashlynn Frey]
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of atmospheric perspective, one-point and two-point perspective. The course will cover the concepts of perspective drawing and explain all the terms related to it such as vanishing point, horizon lines, and etc. Students will create several small sketches of various scenes and perspectives. Depending on the weather students we will have one or two days of plein-air, where we draw outside. Ages 16+ SUPPLIES: Please bring a sketchbook of any size 9" x 12" or bigger. Pencils 6B to 6H, kneaded eraser, white eraser, and a small cotton cloth. General's: Kimberly Graphite Pencils are recommended. $210 Non-Members. $180 Members. Colored Pencil BotanicalsWednesdays, March 25 - May 13 [8 Weeks]: 10 AM - 12 PM [Ashlynn Frey]
Let’s spring into art and create vibrant botanical drawings! Students will learn the fundamental skills of proportion, color theory, layering, blending, burnishing and how to build depth and texture using colored pencils. Join us if you want to grow your skills. Ages 16+ SUPPLIES: Please bring a sketchbook of any size 9" x 12" or bigger; Strathmore Mixed Media is recommended. Prismacolor pencils are provided, but Prismacolor Premier Soft Core Colored Pencils are recommended if you are interested in purchasing your own. $210 Non-Members. $180 Members. CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS OF CLASS
We do not issue credits, or roll forward tuition.
What is the class refund policy?
Class Refunds for 8-week classes and SAAmplers will be issued at 95% of original purchase price if you cancel 1 week in advance or more before class start date.
Cancellations made less than 1 week in advance will not be eligible for a refund. For example: If you cancel your class 48 hours before the start time, your registration is not valid for a refund. We can not issue credits or roll forward tuition.
In case of medical or family emergency, please give our office a call at 217-523-2631.
