This eight week course takes you through drawing fashion subjects such as fashion figures, beauty portraits, clothes and fashion products with the goal of learning to speed draw and to draw from life. Each class begins with a warm up of one to five minute drawings. We’ll work through the subject of that week and finish class with a few rounds of 15 minute drawings, referenced from photos and videos to build awareness and speed. We will explore other fashion illustrators’ works to discuss developing one’s own drawing style as well as learning composition, how to render textures and fabrics, and explore various mediums.
