Pastel Open Studio
Mondays, March 24 - May 12 (8 Weeks), 9AM - 12 PM [Open Studio - No Instructor].
For those that need a space and a community to make art come out on Mondays. Most of the artists are painting in pastels, but all mediums are welcomed from acrylic painting, drawing, and oils. Intermediate PastelWednesdays, March 26 - May 14 (8 Weeks), 1 - 4 PM [Sheri Ramsey]
Come to continue your education by experimenting or improving your pastel paintings, stress-free with joy and excitement among friends! Artists will work individually with "at your easel" critiques with Ramsey about 2 - 4 times per class. A demonstration could occur if the class requests or Ramsey can spend the entire time going from artist to artist. Ages 18+ SUPPLIES: Soft pastels, sanded (or favorite) pastel papers/panels (enough to work on more than one at a time), artist tape & drawing board (if using paper), a few dark pastel pencils, plastic eraser, 1 or 2 stiff brushes (oil oil paining brushes), fixative, water color, oil painting or other paint for thin underpainting, and reference images or still life objects. $200 Non-Members, $170 Members SAA Members--After hitting purchase, don't forget to sign in to receive your member discount! |
