Pastels for All!Wednesdays, March 25 - May 13 [8 Weeks]: 1 - 4 PM [Sheri Ramsey]
Students will paint 1-3 pastel paintings (or more if you are carefree and open to experimenting with your supplies) in 8 weeks. Students will be exhibiting their own style, color choices and subject matter whether beginning, advanced or in between. Along with the listed supplies please bring reference photographs, ideas, or still life objects to paint on the first day. Brand new pastel painters will be contacted by the instructor before the first class to assess need for a lesson prior to first class. Ages 18+ SUPPLIES: Soft pastels, sanded pastel papers, white plastic eraser, 1-3 brushes [not soft], drawing board [Gator Foam Board is recommended], artists tape, pastel pencils in Payne's Grey, dark blue, or dark brown. $210 Non-Members. $180 Members. Pastel Open StudioMondays, March 23 - May 11 [8 Weeks]: 9 AM - 12 PM [No Instructor]
For those that need a space and a community to make art, come out on Monday mornings for Pastel Open Studio. Most of the artists are painting in pastels, but all 2D mediums are welcome such as acrylic painting, drawing, etc. It is a relaxing and creative environment offering discussion and mutual critiques to progress your creative process. We do not issue credits, or roll forward tuition.
What is the class refund policy?
Class Refunds for 8-week classes and SAAmplers will be issued at 95% of original purchase price if you cancel 1 week in advance or more before class start date.
Cancellations made less than 1 week in advance will not be eligible for a refund. For example: If you cancel your class 48 hours before the start time, your registration is not valid for a refund. We can not issue credits or roll forward tuition.
In case of medical or family emergency, please give our office a call at 217-523-2631.
