Soft Pastel AdventuresWednesdays, September 30 - November 18 [8 Weeks]: 1 - 4 PM [Sheri Ramsey]
Artists familiar with pastels and their remarkable flexibility OR those willing to learn and experiment with pastels will get a chance to work alongside friends in a relaxed atmosphere. This learning environment includes instructor demonstrations and one-on-one feedback. You will create studies or paintings as you investigate the wonders of this fun medium! If you are new to soft pastel but eager to learn, we strongly suggest taking the "Intro to Soft Pastel" workshop with Sheri before class begins. Ages 16+ SUPPLIES: soft pastels, sanded pastel paper(s), drawing board, 1-3 dark pastel pencils, artists tape, reference photos or sketches, white eraser (Staedtler Mars plastic recommended), 1/2" stiff bristle brush $210 Non- Members. $180 Members SAA Members: after hitting purchase, don't forget to sign in to receive your member discount! |

Pastel Open StudioMondays, September 28 - November 16 [8 Weeks]: 9 AM - 12 PM [No Instructor]
For those that need a space and a community to make art, come out on Monday mornings for Pastel Open Studio. Most of the artists are painting in pastels, but all 2D mediums are welcome such as acrylic painting, drawing, etc. It is a relaxing and creative environment offering discussion and mutual critiques to progress your creative process. We do not issue credits, or roll forward tuition.
What is the class refund policy?
Class Refunds for 8-week classes and SAAmplers will be issued at 95% of original purchase price if you cancel 1 week in advance or more before class start date.
Cancellations made less than 1 week in advance will not be eligible for a refund. For example: If you cancel your class 48 hours before the start time, your registration is not valid for a refund. We can not issue credits or roll forward tuition.
In case of medical or family emergency, please give our office a call at 217-523-2631.
