Roasted: Hot Pots + Pork(April)
This fun family event is a unique experience with a whole hog roast dinner. Purchase a pot or ceramic animal, glaze it, and we'll fire it in an outdoor Raku kiln. Enjoy the fires, live music, a great meal with friends, and leave with your very own raku pot. This event contributes toward our annual operations, allowing us to continue bringing excellent art history programming as well as being a vital resource for the community. |

Paint the Street(July)
Artists, families, businesses and the community at large are invited to paint 6ft. x 6ft. squares on Washington Street in front of the Old State Capitol Plaza. Paint by day and stroll the painted streets by night while enjoying live music and fantastic food. Proceeds benefit the School of Art (program development, studio improvements, equipment acquisitions, and special programming). |

Edwards Place Fine Art Fair(September)
This two-day festival hosts 70+ artist booths, a children's area, demonstrations, interactive art activities, live music, a used book sale, and food trucks. This fair has been a tradition for over a quarter of a century and is going strong. Benefits furthers the SAA's mission and supports our local artists. It introduces new national artists to Springfield and supplements SAA's operational funding. |

Beaux Arts Ball(November)
Established in 1930, our elegant gala honors the families and volunteers who generously support the Springfield Art Association with their time, talent, and financial resources. This family tradition celebrates an honorable King and Queen to reign over the Ball. This event supports SAA's annual operations. |

Edwards Place events happen throughout the year and include historical lectures, teas, re-enactments, fashion shows, haunted house tours and more. This stunning antebellum mansion tells the story of social and cultural life of the 19th century in Abraham Lincoln's Springfield, Illinois. Proceeds help finance programming and the conservation and restoration of Edwards Place. |
