Kathlyn Edwards is an artist based in Springfield, Illinois who studied undergraduate art classes at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota and continues to hone her skills with the Springfield Art Association.
Her artistic pursuits include ceramics, printmaking, origami, painting, and fiber arts. She is inspired by nature, her garden and an inquisitive sense of playfulness which is reflected in her art. "I enjoy making things that make me smile. I decided all my houseplants need friends, so began to make miniatures for my pots. Along the way I rediscovered my love of clay. I love to make things that reminded me of the outdoors and the endless camping trips I took as a child." |
