Ginny Lee - Photography

​I have been a working photographer since 1989, when I was staff photographer for the Democratic Staff at the Illinois State Senate. Also at that time I began photographing children in my neighborhood and contributing news and feature photos to the Illinois Times newspaper.
 
I am known for my informal portraits and for my landscapes of Central Illinois and other places. I work intuitively and like to capture quiet little moments with my camera. Recently I have been exhibiting photos made from my Hipstamatic and Instagram apps on my cell phone.  Sometimes I matt two such photos together to tell a story.
