FAQ's
  1. How to I get votes?
Votes are your combined donated dollar which include ticket reservations ($65/person), donations/votes (Any amount), and sponsorship. In each case the donor/purchaser must indicate the sponsorship is in support of you.be attributed to you.
*Comp tickets are not counted as votes as no money is associated with to the reservation.
  2. When do I need to have my Dancer Sponsors Secured?
December 15 is the last date to secure a Dancer Sponsors ($650).
If you are unable to secure a sponsors and need assistance please let us know ASAP.
The final drop dead date for other Sponsors to be included in the program is February 5.
  3. How many votes to the winners usually bring in?
This varies from year to year. On average the winning Star usually brings in between 7000 - 9000 but we have seen dancers with well over 10,000
  4. What should I wear?
This is really up to you and your partner. The event is black tie optional but as a performer you might want to dance in a costume. There is an award for the Best Costume!
  5. When do tickets go on sale?
They will go on sale about 2 weeks after we have our dancer line up secured. We anticipate that to be November 1
  6. When does online voting open?
NOW! As soon as tickets go on sale.
  7. Can donors only vote online?
NO. You can accept cash or check for the voters if that is easiest for them. If they are donating more than $20 please ensure you provide us with Name, Address, and email so we can provide them with a tax receipt for their support.
  8. When do ticket sales end?
Ticket reservations must be received by February 16. This is a sit down dinner and we must have final numbers to the hotel 1 week prior to the event.
  9. Will all my guest be seated together?
Yes. We seat guest together based on which dancer they are supporting. We also try to group the tables for each dancer closer to each other and near where you will be dancing on the floor. While we do our best to make this happen it is not always perfect. You can help us ensure your guest are seat with others they will know by providing us with suggested table assignments 2 week prior.
  10. How many guests are at each table?
We have table of 10. All tables must be full. So if you have 14 guests you will have one table with 10 of your guests and 1 table that includes 4 of yours guests and 6 others they may not know.
  11. I have friends and family who cannot attend can they still vote the day of? YES. If they register on the voting site they can vote and bid on the silent auction all night.
  12. Will people know how I am doing the day of the event? If they register on the voting site they will get notifications about when voting is open and closed. This will allow them to see if you make it into the top 3 and they can vote for you again. If they follow us facebook we will do our best to post live video as well as the announcement of the top 3. But sometimes the event pulls us away from this. We will post pictures and videos after the event but the video is not top quality.
