Debra Nickelson Smith - Ceramics, Sculpture, & Jewelry

Debra Nickelson Smith has been exhibiting professionally for the last fifteen years in the medium of Ceramics, and the last eight years in the medium of jewelry.  Prior to entering the Visual Arts scene, she taught college level English, Speech, and Theatre.  Between shows, she offers workshops in the areas of hand built ceramics,  sculptural forms in clay,  fused glass and ceramic jewelry,  creative writing,  storytelling, acting, improvisation, and meditation.

She is a member of NCECA (National Council of Educators in the Ceramic Arts), the Springfield Art Association, and SAA Collective Juried Artists.
