Danny Brikshavana - Ceramics
Danny Brikshavana is a ceramicist living in Springfield, IL. He discovered the passion for ceramics in the fall of 2014 and gravitated towards this art form because of its versatility and complexity.
In January of 2015 he had an opportunity to visit Kyoto, Japan to learn the art of making Japanese tea bowls from a Japanese ceramicist. This learning experience, as well as his deep appreciation and passion for his own Asian culture, has greatly influenced his pottery.
Danny Brikshavana strives to convey the feeling of balance and wholeness with each design and creation. Each art piece may range from appearing simple, with subtle senses of movement, to intricate with more finer details.
