Don't let the kids have all the fun! Join us for Adult Art Camp After Dark. Over 5 art techniques taught in 24 hours. No experience necessary. Camp out in a tent on campus or come back in the AM.

By Candlelight Still Life Painting and Collaborative Mural with Erin Svendsen
Schedule for the day:
11AM: Pitch your tent, if you are staying the night
NOON: Eat your packed lunch, Camp Project Discussion, Intros and Ice Breakers
1PM: Paper Spraying with Betsy Dollar [Each person will have a chance to spray a layer every hour, there after]
1PM: Burnishing and Slip Decorating Blackware pieces with Joyce Surbeck-Harris and Kathy Adams, Bury the pots and stoke the fire every 2 hours
4PM: 1HR Break
5PM: Metal Casting: Prepare molds
6PM: Break for your packed dinner
7PM: Cast Aluminum. For fast finishers: Painting the Ceramics Lab Mural and stoking the ceramic fires
8PM: Introduce the By Candlelight Still Life Painting in the Studio
9PM: You may leave and continue the next morning, if you would like. Those that will stay will meet around the fires to chat and continue the ceramics burn.
8AM: Mural Painting and enjoy the SAA provided Breakfast
9AM: Reveal the Paper Spray Piece, then make a Coptic-Bound Journal with Betsy Dollar
Noon: Open the Pits to reveal the Blackware Ceramics
