6x6 Art Raffle Frequently Asked Questions
How do I purchase raffle tickets?
During the exhibit dates (March 6 - 20, 2025), you must register or log in to your existing Givesmart account. Once you are logged in and a debit or credit card is linked, you may click on any artwork you wish to buy tickets for. Enter the number of tickets you want to purchase for that particular artwork and push BUY. Do not fill in a bid number. Those will be assigned to you. You then will be able to checkout after you have finished selecting your tickets. All remaining items in your cart will automatically be checked out for you at 5 PM on March 20.
Is this a silent auction or a raffle?
Patrons have brought to our attention a small error on this website that we are unable to change on our end. Please disregard the "How Bidding Works?" button located on item pages at this time as it explains silent auction rules and not our raffle. You are buying chances to win any particular artwork at $2 each. Those chances will go into a basket at the closing reception and winners will be drawn.
Do you take check or cash payments?
Check and Cash payments can be made in person at the SAA Collective during gallery hours which are Wed-Sat from 11 AM - 5 PM and at the closing reception on March 20 beginning at 5:30 PM. All raffle tickets must be purchased online by 5 PM Central Time or in person at the closing reception on March 20 before 6:45 PM.
How do I know what my bid number is?
Bid numbers will be assigned within 24 hours after you register into the raffle. Check back and you will see your bid number under "My Info." Emails will also be sent closer to the end of the raffle reminding you of your bid number! Bid numbers will be used to announce the winners.
How do I know if I win a 6x6 artwork?
All winners will be announced in person at our closing reception at the SAA Collective on Thursday, March 20 at 7:00 PM. The closing reception will run from 5:30 - 8:00 PM with games, prizes, and refreshments. Winners will also be announced at the same time on the Springfield Art Association's Facebook via FB Live. All winners are also notified by the email they registered with.
If you win an item, how will it get to you?
1) Items can be picked up from the SAA Collective Gallery (preferred) at 105 North 5th Street directly after winners are called or during gallery hours (Wed-Sat 11 AM - 5 PM).
2) Shipping can be arranged through Fed Ex, UPS or USPS. Packing and shipping expenses are to be paid by the buyer, directly through Givesmart, our raffle website. Please contact Barbie LaFrance to make arrangements after you have won at [email protected]
Why are some youth artworks not available to be bid on?
All artists 17 and younger were able to opt out of the raffle upon entering their works. Those works will be returned back to the artist after the event.
