Call for Entries
Sacred and Liturgical Art ExhibitIn cooperation with the Liturgical Arts Festival of Springfield (LAFS), the Springfield Art Association (SAA) will host a juried exhibition of liturgical and sacred art as part of the biennial, interfaith Liturgical Arts Festival: Come Creative Spirit. All spiritual interpretations, approaches and media are welcome. We aim for an exhibition of work that will support diversity, promote understanding, and foster tolerance.
Eligibility This exhibition is open to all artists living in the United States, working in all media. All submitted artwork must explore a spiritual or religious theme. Work must be original and completed in the last three years. No previously submitted work will be accepted. Entry Fee A $30 non-refundable entry fee is required per artist. Each artist may submit up to three entries for consideration, one full image of each will be accepted. Please include a written explanation of your work with your entry. Up to 1000 words will be accepted. |

Edwards Place Fine Art FairIn its 36th year, the Edwards Place Fine Art Fair offers a park-like setting for a dedicated following to shop the wares of artists from across the country and around the region. On the campus of the Springfield Art Association, the fair includes up to 80 artist's booths, interactive art activities for all ages, artist demonstrations, live and DJ music, food vendors, tours of Edwards Place historic house museum, and a used book sale.
Eligibility Artists 18 years and older who work in a broad range of Fine Art and Craft media are invited to apply. The media categories are 2D (painting in watercolor, oil, acrylic, drawing, pastel, printmaking, collage, calligraphy, mixed media, and paper arts); Ceramic (functional, sculptural, hand built, thrown); Fiber (wearable, decorative), Glass (blown, fused, slumped, cast); Jewelry (precious metal, gems, beaded, other); Photography (film, digital, alternative); Other (book arts, basketry, metal, leather, wood, other Entry Fee A $25 non-refundable entry fee is required per application. 5 images are required (including a booth shot). Artists can submit up to 5 applications for this show. |
The Enos Park Residency for Visual Artists offers long-term residencies that provide living and studio space and community through which to reflect and engage one’s work. We accept applications from emerging, mid-career, and established artists working in all media, and especially those who emphasize community engagement, social practice, or socially-engaged works.

SAA Collective Juried Artist Applications
Deadline: Every Nov. 15, Feb 15, and June 15
SAA Collective Juried Artist Members have the opportunity to regularly show their work at SAA Collective have a featured artist’s exhibition at the SAA Collective approximately every three years, participate in juried exhibitions in the M.G. Nelson Family Gallery at a discounted rate when applicable, and participate in art outreach, teaching opportunities, and SAA events as desired. |
