Traditional Art Skills: Ages 5 - 8

Home School Option: Mondays, January 9 - February 27, 1-2:30PM [Ashlynn Frey] or 
Thursdays, September 29 - November 17, 4-5:30PM [Ashlynn Frey]

Kids will learn and create art based on the elements of art such as color, line, shape, form and textures.  They  will get a chance to work on a variety of different mediums and discover new techniques such as painting, ceramics, fiber arts, and much much more.

Master Class: Ages 9 - 12

Tuesdays, January 10 - February 28, 4 - 530PM [ Ashlynn Frey]
Students will be inspired by the works of many famous artists such as Annie Albers’s weaving, Alma Thomas’s landscape painting, and George Rodrigue’s blue dog. They  will get a chance to work on a variety of different mediums and discover new techniques such as painting, ceramics, fiber arts, and much much more.

Youth Comic Drawing: Ages 7 - 12

Saturdays, January 14 - March 4: 9 - 10:30 AM [Will Norris]
The kid's comic awesomeness class is the class for kids that love to draw characters from comic books, cartoons, video games, superheroes, or just whatever crazy character ideas they come up with! From drawing, inking, coloring, layout, character creation and so much more, the students will learn everything they need to know to put together their very own comic book. All supplies are provided.

Teen Comic Drawing: Convergence:
Ages 13 - 17

Saturdays, January 14 - March 4, 11 AM - 1 PM [Will Norris]
The Teens Comic Drawing class centers around the continuing creation of the Convergence comic, a anthology comic featuring the art and comic stories of the students in the class. Students will learn how to storyboard, layout, draw, ink and color comic pages to bring their characters and stories to life in a comic book that will be printed and published at completion of the session. Both traditional and digital methods will be utilized and covered as well as the process of design and production. All supplies are provided.

Teen Wheel Throwing: Ages 13 - 17 

Wednesdays, January 11 - March 1, 4 - 6PM [Colleen Halford]
Learn the basics of wheel throwing in this beginner course. Students will learn how to center clay on the wheel, throw and trim bowls. All supplies are provided.

Portrait Drawing: Ages 13 - 17

Wednesdays, January 11 - March 1: 4 - 5:30PM [Ashlynn Frey]
During this course, students will learn the fundamental skills in drawing the human face, along with how to shade, control tones, compositions, and other drawing methods.  Students will focus and draw one facial feature at a time.  Towards the end of the eight weeks, students will complete a full portraiture drawing.
