Mondays January 15 - March 5: 5 - 8 PM [Megan Craddock] This is a beginner hand building class meant for those who have never worked with clay or explored the ceramic process before. Each week has a clear focus and a project meant to be completed in the 3 hour period. We will explore tools such as the slab roller, extruder, and slump molds. There will be an introduction to glaze chemistry including a lesson on how to read a formula, safely mix dry materials, and test a new glaze. Classes will be held at our temporary rental space at Benedictine University. More details will be given in your confirmation email.
