Ages 14 +: Building An Artist's Book

SKU:

$100.00

Wednesdays January 18 - March 8: 6 to 8:30PM [Betsy Dollar] Investigate the world of Artist’s Books. You will learn a variety of book structures and binding techniques while learning what it means to create an artist’s book. You will generate contents and a structure for an original book that you will create during the last two weeks of class.
Content need not be words, many artist’s books are structures that support images, like accordion books, tunnel books, carousel books, and pop-ups.
No experience required, just an interest in trying something new.
A bone folder, an x-acto knife and a cutting mat will get you started. We will make paper for books during the second class. Ages 14 - Adult
