Ramona Boston - Photography
Ramona's first formal training in photography in the early '80s was with a Canon A1, black and white film, and a darkroom. She now shoots with Sony's mirrorless line. Her aesthetic reflects that early training; it is high contrast, occasionally grainy, mostly black and white, and always shot in natural light.
Literally born into the horse business, Ramona could nearly ride before she could walk. Once working as a groom for some of the top Saddlebred barns in the nation, today she gravitates to equine photography as her niche. She has an instinct for equine grace, rhythm and mechanics, and feels the emotion of horse and rider well enough to come home with winning shots.
