Photographer Michael Berk retired from the Illinois Department of Employment Security in Springfield Illinois in March of 2016. A transplant to Springfield, he has lived here for more than 20 years. He studied art and art history at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, jewelry making thru Fox Valley Adult Education in Batavia, Illinois, and Intermediate Digital Photography thru the Prairie Art Alliance.
His photographic work mainly focuses on landscapes. His favorite locations are in the western states of Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Utah. |
