Paint the Street Professional Category
Join us on Saturday, June 26 during Paint the Street by enrolling into the Professional Category! The Springfield Art Association takes over Washington Street in Downtown Springfield asking artists to paint 6' x 6' squares. By enrolling in the Professional Category, participants receive the following:
2nd Place - $200
3rd Place - $100
Cost per PRO square: $45 Nonmembers, $40 Members

Midsummer Design and Wine Fundraiser
Artists Wanted! This year the Washington Botanical Gardens will host its Midsummer Design and Wine Fundraiser. During this event, along with wine and refreshments, a silent auction of garden art posts by artists in the Springfield community and surround areas will be showcased. These posts will be on display the week leading up to the auction for the fundraiser at the Garden. Ages are welcome to participate.
Entry Fee - $35 (Includes wood post, cap and stake)
Pick up for supplies is Friday, May 21 at the Washington Park Botanical Gardens ( entry fee due at pickup )
Deadline for submittal is July 5

The primary purpose of this exhibition is to showcase the achievements of our students, skills of our instructors, and offer the public a glimpse of what can be created in our studios.
No entry fee! Submissions are limited to two per artist. Depending on the number of submissions, we do not guarantee that all work submitted will be shown. We do guarantee that one work by each artist will be shown. You are eligible for this show if you have taken a class any time between January 2019 and June 2021.
All work must be delivered to the Springfield Art Association between July 29th and August 3rd.

The Enos Park Residency for Visual Artists offers long-term residencies that provide living and studio space and community through which to reflect and engage one’s work. We accept applications from emerging, mid-career, and established artists working in all media, and especially those who emphasize community engagement, social practice, or socially-engaged works.
SAA Collective Juried Artist Applications
Deadline: Every Nov. 15, Feb 15, and June 15
SAA Collective Juried Artist Members have the opportunity to regularly show their work at SAA Collective have a featured artist’s exhibition at the SAA Collective approximately every three years, participate in juried exhibitions in the M.G. Nelson Family Gallery at a discounted rate when applicable, and participate in art outreach, teaching opportunities, and SAA events as desired.
