She began “playing” with clay over twenty years ago. The feel and pliability of clay began a voyage of discovery that has never stopped. Both throwing a pot on the wheel and exploring the qualities of clay in hand building offer endless possibilities used alone or combined.

WHEELS GONE WILD! (504)
If you want to try your hand at something new in clay, or wish to perfect your interests as a potter, come take a spin on one of our wheels! This class focuses solely on throwing on the wheel, for both beginners and intermediate students. Beginners will learn basic wheel skills: centering, opening, pulling, shaping, trimming and finishing, as well as glazing. These techniques will be used to make variations on the basic cylinder, such as mugs, vases, and bowls. Intermediate projects will be determined on experience and interests. SUPPLY LIST
