The SAA is pleased to partner with the Mid-Central Illinois Region of The Scholastic Art Awards program. Visit the Gallery of Art between February 1 and February 26 to view the amazing artwork of 7 to 12 grade students from 21 Illinois counties. The artwork on display will have been selected by a panel of judges and will represent categories including painting, drawing, fashion, jewelry, sculpture and more. Students are judged based on originality, technical skill, and emergence of a personal vision or voice. After competing at the regional level, some students will go on to compete nationally.
